This is part 3, click here to read part 1 and part 2.

It’s the end of the month and it’s time to take a look at the cold showers challenge. Did one month of cold showers live up to the expectations? What happened and what didn’t happen? And are we going to continue taking cold showers after the challenge?

The first days were a bit challenging but you get used to it quickly, now I don’t really don’t notice the cold water. The most obvious effect I noticed was the energy boost you get, it lasts several hours and it’s really refreshing.

Another benefit I mentioned before is the effects on the skin, but if you really want better skin I recommend improving your nutrition for better results. A cold shower in the evening can help you fall asleep, but other effects such as reducing depression would be impossible for me to test.

In my opinion cold showers are good, but they are a bit overrated. I think I’ll still use cold showers to get the energy boost when I need it, but I’ll definitely enjoy hot showers most days.
Have you tried cold showers? If you have I’d love to hear your thoughts on it, so please leave a comment. And if you have suggestions for other one month challenges we can do please let me know, and we might do it.
